106 years ago, the Laie Temple was dedicated as the House of the Lord! In the prayer said to dedicate the temple, Heber J. Grant said "May all who come upon the grounds which surround this temple, in the years to come... feel the sweet and peaceful influence of this blessed and hallowed spot." On this Thanksgiving day, we so grateful for the impact that this temple has made, not only in this community but also to the millions of visitors who have felt God's love at this sacred place!
